Physics@FOM Veldhoven takes place each year in January. It is a large congress that provides a topical overview of physics in the Netherlands. Traditionally, young researchers are given the chance to present themselves and their work alongside renowned names from the Dutch and international physics community. The programme covers condensed matter, nanoscience and nanotechnology, statistical physics, atomic physics, molecular physics, optical physics, physics of fluids, subatomic physics and fusion/plasma physics. For an impression of the congres, see the compilation video of Physics@FOM Veldhoven 2013
Physics@FOM Veldhoven 2014 will take place on 21 and 22 January.
Frank Linde (Nikhef), Jan-Kees Maan (RU), Albert Polman (AMOLF) and Herman Clercx (TU/e) are the members of the the Steering Committee for Physics@FOM Veldhoven. This Committee decides on the overall set-up of the conference and set up a Programme Committee to complete the programme.
