Central Works Council

The Central Works Council (in Dutch: Centrale Ondernemingsraad, COR) represents all FOM employees in discussions with the FOM management. We advise the management and in some cases have the right to allow/forbid certain policies or plans that affect the position of FOM employees or the FOM organization.

On behalf of all FOM employees, the FOM works councils contribute to the continued well-being of the FOM organization. The Central Works Council (COR) includes representatives from the local works councils (at the institutes AMOLF, Rijnhuizen, and Nikhef, and at the FOM central office) and members who are chosen directly from the university groups. Both permanent staff members and temporary FOM employees like PhD students and postdocs can participate in the works councils. Members of the COR in 2011-2012 are listed here. 

The COR meets every month, and once every two months there is a meeting together with the FOM management. Meeting dates are listed at the web page News.
